Privacy Policy: Live5AM Reel Publisher

1. Overview

Live5AM Reel Publisher ("the tool") is a personal automation utility operated by Live5AM (Mansour Norouzi) for the owner's own use. It has exactly one user: the owner. This policy describes what information the tool handles.

2. Information the tool accesses

TikTok account (via TikTok Login Kit). When the owner connects their TikTok account, the tool receives the basic profile allowed by the user.info.basic scope: username, avatar, and open ID. This is used only to confirm which account is connected.

Instagram Reels. The tool reads the owner's own Instagram Reels (video files and their captions) in order to republish them to the owner's TikTok account. No other Instagram data is accessed.

OAuth tokens. The TikTok access and refresh tokens are stored securely on the owner's own computer and used only to authenticate the tool's API calls. They are never transmitted anywhere except to TikTok's own API.

3. How information is used

Information is used solely to operate the tool: detecting new Reels, uploading them to TikTok via the Content Posting API, and confirming the connected account. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

4. What is not collected or shared

The tool does not collect information about anyone other than the owner. It does not sell, rent, or share any information with third parties. The only external services involved are TikTok's and Instagram's own APIs, which receive only what is necessary to publish the owner's content.

5. Data retention and control

Tokens and the local record of posted Reels live on the owner's own computer and can be deleted at any time by removing the tool's local files. The owner can revoke the tool's TikTok access at any time from TikTok's authorized-apps settings.

6. Children's privacy

The tool has a single adult user (the owner) and is not directed at children.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
